Baits are designed to be attractive. Almost impossible to resist. That’s the whole point. If fishermen would stick a dirty napkin to their hooks, they wouldn’t catch much.

Same for clickbait articles. They are crafted to entice you to click. That’s the point, right? Something super boring and uninteresting wouldn’t be much of a clickbait, would it?
