Today we continue on what we explored last week in episode 10. I talked about finding those constants in life, those universal truths that don't waver, allowing us to build a stable foundation for ourselves. I shared how our thoughts, not their content but their very existence, ebb and flow through our minds, shaping our reality. It's fascinating, right? That our thoughts can breathe life into our experiences, making them feel incredibly real the moment we focus on them.

What strikes me as radical is this shift in understanding how we perceive reality. It's not about what's happening externally, but how our thoughts influence our feelings. Our feelings, much like our sense of smell, don't reflect the world around us but the quality of our thoughts at that moment. Realizing this can be liberating – it's about understanding, not changing our experiences.

Now, let's talk about momentum, or what I like to call the innate wave of energy and new thoughts within us. It's this ever-present source of fresh ideas and the 'knowing' that guides us, often against all odds. It's our nature, our inbuilt strength that sometimes gets overshadowed by our misconceptions about our potential and how we think we should navigate life.

Many of us, athletes included, often think we're fully engaged in the game, but in reality, we're trapped in our own heads, battling our perceptions and feelings. We mistake these struggles as external challenges, not realizing they're born from our thoughts. Understanding this can shift your perspective, making you realize that when you feel off, it's just a sign of your thoughts at play, and like a bad smell, it's temporary and harmless.

In essence, our innate momentum, this undercurrent of energy, is always there, driving us forward. It's why teams can make miraculous comebacks in sports, why we experience moments of flow unexpectedly. This momentum is part of our very essence. By recognizing this, you'll begin to see a world of potential and freedom open up before you.

What if one insight could make performing at your best inevitable, every single time?
The difference between thriving and struggling is in the reality you see in the moment.
Not your character, not your mental strength, not luck, not your experience, not your story, not your personality. Only whatever happens to look real to you there and then.
This is why one insight can change your life forever, by changing your relationship with that reality.
Good news: you're an insight machine. You only need to know where to look.
